# Faith Standards

Every Bayt Muslim listing is reviewed against a shared set of standards, so you can travel without compromising your deen. Listings display badges for the standards they meet.

## Family-verified

The host and space have been reviewed as a genuine, family-appropriate place to stay or visit — described honestly, suitable for families and individuals seeking a respectful environment.

## Alcohol-free

No alcohol is served or expected on the premises during your stay or experience, and the space is presented as an alcohol-free environment.

## Prayer-equipped

A clean space to pray, with qibla direction available and, where noted, a prayer mat — so you never have to search for somewhere to pray.

## Halal-friendly

For meals and kitchens: halal options or a kitchen where preparing halal food is straightforward and respected. "Bayti" meals are home-cooked by hosts who understand halal. Cottage food note: home-prepared food is not inspected by the state or local health department. If you have allergies or dietary needs, confirm them with the host before booking.

## Privacy-considerate

Where noted, spaces offer added privacy — such as separate or modesty-friendly arrangements — for travelers who value it.

## How vetting works

Hosts attest to the standards their listing meets when they create it, and Bayt Muslim reviews and approves listings before they go live. Standards reflect what a host commits to; they are not a guarantee, and we ask guests to confirm anything essential to them with the host before booking. If a listing doesn't match its badges, tell us at hello@baytmuslim.com and we'll look into it.

## For hosts

Committing to Faith Standards is how you earn trust with Muslim travelers. You choose the standards your space honestly meets when you list. See https://baytmuslim.com/for-hosts.html.
